Dragons. Legendary creatures who rule the skies, bringing fire and ruin down upon all who dare oppose them…The Crucible is an ever-changing landscape filled with a myriad of strange and powerful beings, many of which resemble dragons. But, in the words of the great psion Nizak, the only true dragons are the Ouboros. They are the Crucible’s oldest sentient beings; some even claim they were the original Archons. More than 300,000 millennia ago, they challenged the godlike Architects for control of the cosmos—and lost. As punishment for their hubris, the Ouboros were banished from the mortal world, doomed to spend eternity in Limbo, the Architects’ extra-dimensional prison. Now, the Crucible faces its greatest threat—not in the form of fire-breathing dragons, but something far more sinister. A portal has opened, and through it flows the endless, all-consuming Darkness. It corrupts and ultimately destroys everything it encounters. Entire societies have already been lost, and even the enigmatic Architects can offer only one desperate solution: release the Ouboros.

Crucible Clash is a special KeyForge set designed specifically for competitive sealed play. In a sealed game or tournament, players do not bring decks from their own collections, instead, each player opens 1-3 new decks and must play with what they opened.

The set has been intentionally designed to be played in isolation only against other Crucible Clash decks. This has given us the freedom to introduce an exciting new gameplay feature: Every Crucible Clash deck will include a special Archon Power, chosen from a list based on the contents of the deck. For example, if a deck includes a lot of a particular type of bonus icon, it may include an Archon Power that provides a new use for that bonus icon.

Each box contains 12 archon decks.
