The boxed set contains 10 metal infantry figures each armed with an STG44 assault rifle. All figures have separate heads allowing you to build your squad in a variety of ways. More useful are perhaps the powerful arms that can smash tanks and clear obstacles. Well-liked by its crews, the Grizzly is considered a better infantry support option than the Sherman, particularly in urban environments where it can carry out improvised route clearance and help build defensive obstacles.

The 75mm gun was chosen ahead of the 76mm for its improved HE round, often the most heavily used ammunition in an engagement.

The Wotan panzermech was built to operate as a tank hunter in difficult terrain or to assist the Thor panzermechs in reaching their urban targets. Unsuited to the urban role, once the Thors were delivered to the target, the Wotanoften protected the flanks of an assault, preventing enemy armour from cutting off the attacking forces’ lines of supply.

Whilst it’s main purpose is being support and protecting flanks, it is nearly just as capable as the Thor panzermechs to be on the front. But, putting Thor and Wotan panzermechs together would even make the earth tremble.

Certainly being a tough nut to crack, you can place the Wotan into any combat situation and nearly guarantee it’s survival. As perfect as it looks as a centre piece it also becomes the ideal distraction. So big and deadly your opponent will be avoiding it completely or throwing everything they have it at. Use that time to strike!

Daemon and Machine in Unholy Alliance

Your mighty walker is easy to customise – there are poseable legs, armour, and chest options, 3 sets of carapace armour, interchangeable exhaust pipes, 2 sets of shoulder pads, 2 sets of torso trim, and 3 pieces of rubble to help with posing. The short story Joy of the Martyr features sisters of the Order of Our Martyred Lady who have been dispatched to retake and cleanse a millennia-old shrine on the planet Unguria. As they approach the ancient site, they soon realise that all is not as it appears.

In Redemption Through Blood, Sister Marcella of the Order of the Bloody Rose struggles to hone her anger as a weapon. During an engagement with the enemy, her senses are dulled by the vicious hatred she fosters, and she does not hear the orders of her Sister Superior.

Under the command of zealous Inquisitor Serantia of the Ordo Hereticus, Canoness Commander Florelia and her sisters fight with all they have to reclaim a world lost to the sacrilegious worship of a false Emperor in the short story The Fires of Our Faith.

The Knight Valiant can alternatively be built as a Knight Castellan. They have the following weapon options:

Built around two Repulsor Executioner tanks, each a veritable arsenal of heavy weaponry, this force brings you firepower in droves. With a flexible Redemptor Dreadnought and a long-ranged specialist Ballistus Dreadnought, you’re ready to take on anything your enemy throws at you. The miniatures in this box are easy to customise. The Redemptor Dreadnought can be equipped with a heavy onslaught gatling cannon or a macro plasma incinerator on the right arm. Its left arm can carry a Redemptor fist and a heavy flamer support weapon, or an onslaught gatling cannon. The kit also comes with a chest-mounted twin fragstorm grenade launcher or a twin storm bolter and a carapace-mounted Icarus rocket pod. The legs and hips can be posed in a variety of configurations, and the chest can be modelled closed, or open to show off the sarcophagus.

Each of the Repulsor Executioners has a choice of turret-mounted heavy laser destroyer or macro plasma incinerator. Both also include an optional gunner, who can be built scanning with an auspex or with his hands on the trigger of an optional pintle-mounted ironhail heavy stubber. There are also optional Icarus rocket pods to provide more anti-aircraft firepower, pieces of optional stowage, and optional antennae.
