It’s Ice! Yes! I love Ice. He’s brilliant.

What he may lack in grappling and dodging, he more than makes up for in Defence. And defending himself isn’t all he’s good for! His Glacial Skin Passive Ability makes him extremely hard to grapple, and The Wall is a Passive Ability that allows him to share his Defence value with any wrestler in base contact.

Just think on that for a second. You can take high offensive wrestlers or great grapplers, then just hug up to Ice and be extremely difficult to take out.

Ice is a Free Agent, which means you can use him in any team without losing your Sponsorship Bonus. So what teams is he best in? The Raging Beasts and The Green Bruisers benefit a huge amount from his presence, as he counters their low defence stats.

Fang has entered the ring! He’s a fantastic all-rounder superstar, with decent stats and a couple of +1s on his card. He’s fast and vicious!

Superhuman Spinebreaker is a Grapple Ability you’ll be using lots and lots. It’s easy to do, and thanks to Fang’s Vampirism Passive Ability, replenishes his Stamina at the same time. But that’s not all, because if you pass a Crowd Pleaser, the whole team gain the same benefit!

Fang obviously fits in perfectly with The Cryptborn Nightmares, boosting their already decent regenerative capabilities and their reliance on grapple attacks. But he’s also a great choice for any team with lower Stamina – The Deadly Divas and The Twisted Shadows come to mind – as his constant replenishing can make up for their main weakness!

Since an early age, The Chief has been able to manifest and utilise the abilities of his spirit animals; the mighty bear, the swift eagle and the relentless coyote.”

On the surface, The Chief may not look like much. But I challenge you to find a better wrestler that has 5AP and 5MP for such a good price.

The real draw for The Chief is his array of Spirit Animal bonuses. With three to choose from, each offers a stat-boosting ability for that round, meaning you can power him up for the task at hand. And if he passes his Crowd Pleaser, he gets to pick 2 different animals like some kind of weird chimera!

The Chief is a Free Agent, meaning any team can take him without losing their sponsorship bonus. He works best in an all or nothing kind of team such as The Twisted Shadows or Green Bruisers where his balanced skills get the most use. With no glaring weaknesses and the ability to change roles depending on the situation, he’s a great Superstar for beginners.

“The Nut, (or inmate #0142) has received more suspensions and bans than any two wrestlers combined. In his debut match, the crazy superstar not only beat his opponent but ended their career with a truly terrifying display of rage and psychotic fury. It took several officials and wrestlers to pull him away from his opponent as he bit the air and gnashed his teeth like a rabid dog. Laughing, The Nut rubbed his spit-speckled chin against his shirt and left the ring without another word.”

The Nut has bounced into the ring, and our hearts! Alright, maybe not our hearts.

The Nut is a really unique wrestler (in a game full of unique wrestlers) because his arms are tied up! While he has a very high GRP value (because he’s so hard to catch), he’s unable to Grapple, Lift, or Throw. So that means The Nut is all about damage! 6 MP and 5 AP means he’s going to be a real thorn in your opponent’s side, with High Flyer and Leaping Lunatic, he’ll be all over the ring!

The Nut suits a fast team, which is why he’s a perfect fit in Gomorrah, but he’d also do well teaming up with The Runic Thunder or another team that could use a boost of speed and damage.

Once an actual figurehead, The Lady Luck was given life by a drunk mage on day two of a ninety day pub crawl.
Unsatisfied with her lot in life, she dreamed of joining the wrestlers that fought on her deck as a casino ship. With an almighty crash, she pulled herself free of her ship, then proceeded to eliminate every wrestler in the ring.
That was shortly before the ship sank. Now The Lady luck fights to repay her debt to the casino, lest she incur the wrath of the sea.

Lady Luck is a brawler with a consistent 2 Silver plus 1 in ATT, plus that solid wooden build gives a Gold, Silver and Bronze in DEF, making Lady Luck a tricky KO.

She comes with two very solid moves, Run Aground and Flying Figurehead. The first is a rope attack that deals a solid 2 Damage and gives the wrestler -1AP. The Second is a Turnbuckle that will have her flying across the ring and Daze her opponent stopping them in place.

Having a figurehead in the ring inspires friendly wrestlers, this means whenever a friendly wrestler pins or throws out an enemy you gain a reroll making victory that much sweeter.

Stubby used to be a detective before becoming a RUMBLESLAM superstar! Some say she’s still on the case, trying to track down the criminal that keeps turning her favourite bakeries into health food shops.

For a Weight one, Stubby packs a punch. A Great stat line and some nasty signature moves such as the Diving Slayer Axe Handle, make Stubby the ultimate slayer.

If the crowd gets behind her she will Break into Song and have all wrestlers Dazed and losing their minds. Her questionable stakes make pinning the largest of opponents no trouble, this is made even easier by being the Chosen One.

A fast and fluid wrestler, Pythong has a solid stat line that’s made even better by her pet. Giving her special attacks Fury on 2 Gold dice is no small act, and her Snake Trip ability does Knockdown for good measure, opening up your opponents to a well-timed turnbuckle attack from friendly Forest Soul wrestlers from The Timber Fists.

King Pandinus only awakens once every 5000 years. He stays awake at all times until someone defeats him in a RUMBLESLAM match. So far he’s been awake for… oh, he’s undefeated? I bet he’s really hoping for a nap!

King Pandinus is big and part scorpion. Do you really need to know more? Well he’s the king of the underworld, and so held in pretty high esteem in Diamond Oasis casino, where he gets pretty much free reign. Including free drinks – nice!

If you’re after a Superstar with massive damage potential and great crowd control (I mean, lots of enemy wrestlers rather than the actual crowd), then King Pandinus is your scorpion! His Giant Stinger attack causes Dazed, and if you get a Crowd Pleaser your opponent has to roll 2 dice and suffers -2AP and -2MP if they fail their roll! Add to that Bleeding on all Brawl attacks, and a Turnbuckle Ability that hits everyone in base contact and also Shoves them away and you have a recipe for a killer Superstar. Seriously, he’s one of the best in the game.

Captain Louis once managed to get into trouble with the entirety of the Rostani dwellers in the Diamond Oasis. They managed to smooth things over eventually, but I don’t think he’s getting that boat or that bear back any time soon.

The wrestling VIP is a master at traversing the ring, rope rigger means he can walk outside the ropes and climbing turnbuckles as the King of the Jungle takes not effort at all. Ape escape is a rope ability that will have Louis Bounceback and deliver huge pain with 2 Gold and a base 3 Damage.

Simian Slamdown is a Grapple that will drop any wrestler to the canvas with ease. Showing some authority in the ring Louis can use his Prima Planning to send wrestlers back to the starting turnbuckle, almost resetting a match.

Korut is one of the most educated wrestlers in RUMBLESLAM, holding a PHD in Magistronomy. She’s studied the stars so much she’s now able to predict the outcome of any match she’s in with a visible night sky. Her greatest feat is causing Boulderhead to become trapped under a falling meteor, letting her get the easy pin. Clever girl!

Korut makes use of her superior agility and expert technique to dominate her prey in the ring. A move of six lets her speed around the ring. Combined with Raptor Ricochet there is nowhere in the ring that her prey can hide. Korut’s Ungual Clawdrop is the ultimate finisher: high damage, and high range make it one of the best in the business. She can use her Crowd Pleaser to strike at the opportune moment, being able to make a free Pin action after making a Turnbuckle attack.

If playing a Feral Den team, you may not have much reliability. Baxter has that in spades. With +1 on his Attack, Grapple, and Dexterity, he’s one of the most reliable wrestlers in the game. Combine that with his Dogged Determination special rule, which means if he’s KO’d it doesn’t take effect until the end of the round, and you’ve got a wrestler that just will not get taken out. Baxter pairs perfectly with the more unpredictable Raging Beasts.

With a stat card like that, it’s obvious that Statesman is a great all-rounder. He makes a great centre-piece for any team, his unassuming look hiding a solid line up of skills. With a regenerative ability on all KO’d wrestlers for his Crowd Pleaser, and his Shield Passive Ability giving close friendly wrestlers his awesome Defense, Statesman is at his best when helping out team mates.

With a great all-round stat line and hailing from Kaiser’s Palace, he’s the perfect companion to The Heavy Pounders, or any team with low Defense and low Stamina WEIGHT 1 wrestlers.

The Wrestler known as Steve claims that his ancestors made the Diamond Oasis Pyramids. While his original name is impossible to pronounce, most just call him Steve.

Steve is a being from unknown faraway lands and a wrestler with a style that has yet to be replicated. No one quite knows where he hails from or what language his native tongue is. Most suspect he used to be some sort of shepherd, judging by his docile, immovable bovine friend.

Steve is light on his feet, but not particularly tough. His Greenie Grab is a great way of getting -AP counters on enemy wrestlers and his Tractor Beam is perfect for moving wrestlers around the ring. You’ll need to be careful (or reckless) with the Tractor Beam though, whoever gets teleported has a chance of being swapped with a cow!

Many partygoers love his antics, especially after an energetic RUMBLESLAM event. The only casino to consistently eject Swollaf from their parties is Rolling Bones, after he made a mockery of the wake for Funeralslam XIII. We’re not allowed to talk about that one anymore. 

This gatecrashing half gaint is as strong as he is wild. Coming in with an impressive statline built to deal damage, as well as three iconic moves that will get the ring party going.

His Bear Press Powerslam is a grapple that can knockdown any caught in it’s grasp, or he might send you flying on his Viking funeral Rope attack.  If none of these work, Swollaf can crash down from the turnbuckle with his Valhalla Foot Stomp, an attack that can deal incredible amounts of damage.

Too Swole To Control is his crowd pleaser, which allows Swollaf to gain +AP or +MP, giving him a great boost. He also can let friendly wrestlers drink from his Hornful of Mana Mania Muscle Maker, which can increase the attack of whoever drinks it.

Toothpick earned his nickname during a press conference that was set to usher him into Rumbleslam. One of the veterans of the ring grew offended when the old master declared his distaste for the flashier side of the sport, and challenged the rat right there. Moving with perfect grace and fluid precision, the old master plucked a toothpick free of the presenter’s mouth and flicked it casually at the man like a dart. The angry wrestler collapsed into a heap with the toothpick sticking out of his neck. The aged fighter removed the toothpick as he walked by and the man breathed a haggard breath.”

Toothpick isn’t the toughest of superstars, but has some extremely damaging special attacks. His Deadly Shuriken for example has a high attack value and does a plethora of additional effects. His Grand Master ability adds 1 Copper die to all Feral Den wrestlers’ Dexterity, which makes him the perfect partner for the already slippery Furry Fury.

Skeletons and Ork Skeletons aren’t too worrying on the face of it, but their special abilities hit extremely hard. Just be careful not to put them against far superior opponents, or Brittle Bones will make them explode from a particularly savage beating!

Zombies and Mummies are some of the most reliable wrestlers in RUMBLESLAM. They have lots of power, and Rise From The Grave helps them to just keep going and going. Make sure to use those Crowd Pleasers!

Finally, the Werewolf is probably the best all round WEIGHT 3 wrestler in the game. Werewolves are quick and extremely efficient at throwing the opposing team out of the ring.

From an unknown galaxy, Colonel Russ has arrived through a Spacegate and joined the fun happening at the Diamond Oasis. Luckily for this sunglass wearing solider, he’s got backup in the form of Stargator who owes a life debt to the Colonel.

Stargaters are a space warping, go down fighting kind of tag-team. You’ll definitely need some T’LC after facing this duo in the ring!

The Stargaters are the latest Space Gate wielding wrestlers to arrive in the Diamond Oasis. Colonel Russ’ is a good all rounder but is the squishier of this tag-team. Good thing he’s got Stargator’s super tough scales to make up for it. Not only does Stargator have a solid defence, he’s also got a Big Bite! A hefty attack that inflicts Bleeding. Being part Alligator, Stargator knows how to roll, with his Death Glider Roll leaving his opponents dizzy.

Colonel Russ isn’t without a few tricks of his own, for one he’s brought a gun! Don’t worry, it’s only a Squirt Gun. Between his water pistol and Snake Eyes grapple, Russ can really put down some suppressive fire, dishing out -AP counters like he was in an action movie.

The pair of them bring some Space Gates. These can be set up in unoccupied spaces in the ring and when ANY friendly wrestler moves onto one they are teleported onto the second gate. Better yet, these Space Gates can’t be used in any other way (including by enemies).

Big Andy is a great all-rounder superstar. He’s not quite as dangerous as some (Trihorn, I’m looking at you), but his Dosh cost is barely higher than a regular Weight 3 wrestler. For that little bit more Dosh you get some incredible special abilities like Underhook Suplex and Body Slam which cause the all-powerful Knockdown. And because of his Walking Stupor passive ability, Big Andy is immune to the Dazed special rule, meaning he’s very hard to take down.

He’s strong and very fast for a Weight 3 wrestler, and has some amazing skills. Two of his attacks cause Bleeding, which is great in itself. But even better, his Scent of Blood passive ability means he gains +2 to his ATT score if his target has a Bleeding counter!

As a member of The Feral Den, this superstar fits perfectly alongside the Raging Beasts or the Furry Fury.

From far off lands, The Katiator is bringing a new and deadly form of wrestling to the RUMBLESLAM ring! A Rostani gladiator without fear, this cat is a master of brutal fighting forms, adapting his style and always landing on his feet.

The Katiator is what happens when a RUMBLESLAM wrestler spends their whole life training for fierce gladiatorial combat. He’s fast, he’s tough, and he can do anything!

This Superstar is the real jack-of-all-trades. His stats are all pretty solid, but each round he gets to add 1G dice to either ATT and DEX or to DEF and GRP. That means that depending on who you’re fighting, you can tailor your style to best your opponents. With plenty of special abilities and Bleeding on all Brawl attacks, this is one balanced wrestler that has very few downsides! Also his claws are made of GOLD.

Brock Spectre’s curse of unlife comes from the giant knife embedded in his sternum, which is also cursed with unlife. Due to the curse he’s unable to posess armour to fight alongside the Knights of the Squared Circle. As most of the vows had the “till death” clause, he’s no longer able to use the title he had in life, Sir Brock of the Excessive Bench Press.

A weight 3 ghost, something you don’t see everyday. Brock Spectre is a Superstar between life and death, but even in that limbo he is a mighty wrestler non the less. A respectable statline that focuses on quantity over quality, with 3 out of the 4 stats rocking 3 dice with a rainbow of colours.

The Soulspear rope attack has jump and fury, this means Brock chooses who’s gonna be struck, he then follows it up with a bloody fisted Brawl attack. Brock comes with not one but two Grapple abilities, the first is the Guillotine Choke, a base damage of 2 and Bleeding means the damage will linger on. The Ghost Suplex is his second Grapple ability, this move gives the enemy wrestler -AP and Brock swaps position with the target wrestler.

Spectral means that Brock cannot be pinned however he cannot pin enemy wrestlers, not much physical touch through being a ghost. Brock’s Crowd Please is questionable in the rules of wrestling as he makes use of the knife in his chest, in a Spectre Knife Fight. This removes a gold Stamina to one enemy wrestler.
