Do you have experience working with children, potentially as a teacher, teaching assistant, coach, or tutor? Do you want to see kids thrive over the holidays? We've got an opportunity for you!
Every holiday we work with Hartlepool Borough Council to run clubs for children. This year, we will be offering 190 places per day to local children.
Our Pokemon themed holiday clubs use games to practise maths skills, and we’re looking for two new people to support this work throughout August.
What you'll be doing:
- Teaching children how to play the Pokemon card game (don’t worry, it’s easy, and we’ll teach you first!)
- Maintaining a safe and inclusive atmosphere; ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
- Helping with crafts, maths activities, and other games.
What we provide:
- Training
- 83 hours of work across one training day and four weeks of work in August, and the possibility of ongoing work.
- Rate of pay: Minimum wage + 15%
