Prizing:

1 pack for participation, half a pack person into a prize pool to be distributed among the top half of the standings

Tournament Structure:

• Format: Standard
• 3 rounds of swiss if 8 or less players, 4 rounds if 9 or more.
• No top cut
• 50 minute rounds + turns
• Casual REL

Where to find us:

We’re located at Unit 1 Bovis House on Victoria Road, Hartlepool, TS24 7SE. There is a car park behind the building that has free parking after 6pm on Monday.

How to get to us via public transport:

From Middlesbrough:

The 36 is a direct to and from and takes about an 2 hours to get here and 1 and a half hours to get back, with the bus stop being a small walk away.

The 1 is a direct bus to us, being between 40 minutes to 1 hour, but stops at 6pm.

The train is about 25 minutes to half an hour and the train station is a 5 minute walk away from the venue. The last train back to Middlesbrough is about half 10.

From Stockton:

The 36 is the only way and it takes about an hour and a half to get here and an hour to get back.

From Newcastle:

The only way is via train, with the ride being about 50 minutes. The last train is at quarter to eleven.
