Warhammer Horus Heresy: Leiones Astartes Cerebrus Heavy Tank

The Cerberus is a rare variant of the Spartan chassis, using its massive hull to mount a prototype neutron laser projector and the sizable atomantic arc-reactors and radiation shielding needed to operate the weapon. The neutron laser is a relic of the Dark Age of Technology, poorly understood even by the adepts of the Mechanicum – even when properly shielded, each shot fired floods the crew compartment with exotic radiation. Yet despite the terrible cost of its use, the neutron laser is one of the most effective anti-tank weapons available to the Space Marine Legions, capable of threatening even Titan-class targets.

This multipart resin kit builds one Legion Cerberus, a heavy tank destroyer armed with a massive neutron laser battery. This vehicle is dominated by the three mighty barrels of its centreline-mounted primary weapon, with further systems visible on its upper hull. The tank also comes with a choice of sponson weapons – two heavy bolters, or two lascannons – suited to different combat situations. This model has no Legion markings, allowing Warhammer hobbyists to paint it in whichever colours they choose.

This kit comprises 56 resin components. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel paints.
